Burnout (Dictionary Definition): “A state of physical and emotional exhaustion usually as a result of prolonged stress or frustration with no defined recovery time”.
Our daily lives are full of stressful situations, tension and unpredictable events that have an extreme effect on our body, thoughts, feelings and behavior. It is not easy to stop for a moment to process and release the tension in an intelligent and humorous way.
In our positivity workshop we will confront and deal with those daily situations that have that tendency to take the wind out of our sails.
Those situations that drain us from every bit of energy for example: the coffee that spilled just before leaving to work, the delay in Waze when you need it most, the detergent that we forgot to buy after getting back from the supermarket. These are just some out of many examples that we will learn to handle in a positive and humorous way in order to “charge our batteries” and develop personal and team resilience. The idea behind this workshop is to empower, build and provide tools to cope with the daily challenges and fatigue.
We will begin the activity with a game and an introductory session using the Mentimeter platform together with a few entertaining videos.
We will then focus on the unexpected parts of our daily routine, relate to the micro-stress model as studied in the University of Harvard. We will talk about the implications and conclude with one of the important insights that have surfaced this activity – The people in our lives, the togetherness and the bonds and relationships are the source of our strength and ability to cope positively and efficiently with the challenges that come our way.
We will conclude the workshop with a hybrid group puzzle that combines riddles and challenges that are meant to cheer us up, improve our mood and build our resilience, unity, Well Being and ability to positively cope with the daily difficulties.
